About the Role

The Senior Project Manager at Cushman & Wakefield oversees project setup, implementation, and execution through construction completion and handoff to the client, Humana. This role spans mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, civil, industrial, and architectural applications, while also handling administrative and budgetary controls, including planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling projects. Key duties include developing project strategy, charter, and execution plans with directors, managing overall cost, schedule, risk, and scope, and driving contractors toward schedule and cost objectives. The manager prepares RFQs/RFPs, reviews subcontract proposals, negotiates contracts, conducts cost analyses, audits estimates, and maintains the master project schedule, guiding the client through design, procurement, and construction phases. • Develop project strategy, charter, and execution plan with directors and client. • Manage overall project cost, schedule, risk, and scope; track performance against master schedule. • Prepare RFQs/RFPs, review subcontract proposals, and negotiate contracts. • Oversee construction implementation, operational readiness, and handoff to end‑user. • Conduct construction cost and benefit analysis; audit contractor estimates. • Facilitate client‑facing meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. • Manage due diligence, design, permitting, entitlements, bidding, and sustainability initiatives. • Mentor less‑experienced team members and may supervise staff.

What You Bring

The position requires exemplary oral and written communication, complex problem‑solving, and functional strategy skills, with the ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field and possess ten or more years of construction experience, preferably in life‑science or high‑tech manufacturing environments. • Require 10+ years of construction experience, preferably in life‑science or high‑tech manufacturing. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field. • Demonstrate strong communication, complex problem‑solving, and analytical skills. • Proficient with architectural/engineering drawings, project‑management tools, and Microsoft Office.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $134,762.40 to $158,544.00 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid or unpaid time off.
