About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and training both service and contract technicians. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and control components, managing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, leading and auditing preventative maintenance, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining positive communication across the Operations facility. • Promote a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, PLCs, sensors, and motor starters. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usage. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians. • Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
Basic qualifications require a high‑school diploma or equivalent, four or more years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, CMMS, and PLC programming, as well as experience leading and mentoring technicians and vendor management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project and the ability to work flexible schedules are also required. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The position demands physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and wearing required PPE in a warehouse environment. • 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and preventative maintenance. • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and using CMMS and PLC programming. • Experience leading, training, and mentoring technicians; vendor management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). • Ability to work flexible schedules and meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, kneeling, etc.). • Preferred: Associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical field and robotic operation experience.
