About the Role

The role involves developing, calibrating, and maintaining advanced passenger behavior simulation models for various transportation modes such as rail, bus, air, and urban mobility. You will apply static and dynamic modeling techniques, incorporating data-driven insights like demographics, user preferences, and crowd dynamics to enhance accuracy and realism. Models will be validated, tested, and documented to meet industry standards and ensure reliability. Collaboration is key, requiring work with data scientists, software developers, project managers, and global WSP teams to embed models into products and deliverables. You will prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations for clients, understand their requirements, and provide ongoing technical support. Staying current with emerging research, you will mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing. • Develop, calibrate, and maintain advanced passenger behavior simulation models across rail, bus, air, and urban mobility systems. • Apply static and dynamic modeling techniques, integrating demographics, user preferences, and crowd dynamics. • Validate, test, and document simulation models for quality, reliability, and industry compliance. • Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, project managers, and global WSP teams to integrate models into products. • Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations for clients and stakeholders. • Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, tailor simulation approaches, and provide technical support. • Monitor emerging trends and research in passenger behavior modeling to improve methodologies. • Mentor and train junior staff, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development. • Foster collaboration across WSP India and globally.
