About the Role

The Warehouse Operator will manage the flow of materials, ensuring timely shipment, receipt, and distribution. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipping schedules, and supporting customer on‑call services while adhering to established procedures. A critical aspect of the role is compliance with environmental health and safety standards. The operator must follow safety policies, conduct risk assessments before tasks, maintain a clean work area, and participate in required training and PPE usage. • Account for all materials and supplies; audit incoming goods. • Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials with accurate reporting. • Prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to regulate warehouse space. • Ensure operating procedures are effective and maintain facility equipment. • Process sales orders and invoices. • Update and maintain the warehouse location system. • Participate in customer on‑call services as required. • Work a 14/14 shift rotation schedule. • Comply with safety policies, government, customer, and industry regulations. • Identify and report unsafe work habits, incidents, or near misses. • Perform “Take Five” risk assessments before each task. • Maintain an orderly work area and meet housekeeping standards. • Attend environmental, health, and safety trainings and wear required PPE. • Use computerized inventory management systems.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of warehouse or inventory experience, and a valid forklift license. Additional assets include mining industry exposure, proficiency with computerized inventory systems, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lb. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Have at least one year of warehouse or inventory experience; mining experience is a plus. • Operate a forklift safely (required). • Work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Demonstrate detail‑orientation, time‑management, and organizational skills. • Possess computer literacy (MS Office) and strong written/oral communication. • Able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lb. • Hold a valid driver’s license in good standing.
