About the Role

The Road Mechanic position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of equipment to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location but typically includes aerial work platforms, construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC and oil‑and‑gas equipment. What You Bring

The job requires physical stamina, including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching and lifting 50 pounds or more, and may involve indoor or outdoor work as the job demands. Employees must be adaptable to changing priorities in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining strict safety standards. • High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferred • 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment preferred • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; CDL may be required in some locations • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location

The base pay range is $22.40 – $30.80 per hour, with the exact rate dependent on location, education, training and experience. Full‑time employees become eligible for benefits on the first of the month after 30 days of service.
