About the Role
The Assistant Maintenance Manager (AMM) oversees maintenance operations at a single site, ensuring reliability and performance of engineering assets. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Regional Maintenance Manager, the AMM supports safety, operational excellence and team development while aligning with C&W Services’ and the client’s goals. • Champion safety‑first culture by enforcing protocols, completing training, conducting audits, and tracking safety metrics. • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to achieve KPI targets such as PM/PdM completion, high‑severity breakdown resolution, and OEE. • Supervise maintenance technicians, hold regular 1:1s and team huddles, and develop high‑potential employees with structured plans. • Serve as the on‑site point of contact for maintenance issues, liaise with RME and Operations teams, and communicate updates in daily site meetings. • Maintain 100% training compliance, ensure accurate CMMS data, manage inventory health, warranty claims and budget adherence.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of management experience leading maintenance teams, strong safety commitment, and proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance or engineering, certifications such as CMRP or PMP, and experience with conveyor systems and robotics in logistics centers. • Minimum three years of maintenance management experience overseeing multi‑site teams. • Proficient in preventive/predictive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field; CMRP or PMP certification; experience with conveyor systems and robotics.
