About the Role

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager will help ensure smooth property operations by supporting leasing activities, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight. The role also involves preparing reports, training staff, and maintaining vendor relationships to uphold high standards. • Manage leasing processes: showings, applications, move‑ins, lease renewals, and security‑deposit refunds • Address delinquent accounts, initiate evictions, and handle collections and payment processing • Maintain accurate resident records and promote retention programs • Prepare monthly reports on rents, renewals, leasing activity, and maintenance • Train and coach office staff, attend meetings, and take minutes as needed • Oversee vendor relationships, ensure proper invoicing, and handle purchase orders • Ensure compliance with federal and state Fair Housing laws and company policies

What You Bring

Ideal candidates bring two to three years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong interpersonal, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills. They must be able to navigate fair‑housing regulations, resolve resident issues promptly, and contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment. • 2–3 years of property management or sales/customer service experience • Valid driver’s license with good driving record; auto insurance may be required • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities • Analytical and problem‑solving skills • Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
