What You Bring
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support our team in Richardson, TX! The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills, while also demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field within the next 12‑24 months. They must have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) on Windows. Excellent design and layout skills, typography knowledge, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and exceptional communication abilities are required. Travel to other offices within the region may be needed, and applicants should submit digital work samples or an online portfolio. • Pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (expected graduation within 12‑24 months). • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro). • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) on Windows. • Strong design, layout, and typography skills with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Willingness to travel to other regional offices as needed.
