About the Role

Its Transport & Infrastructure business manages and maintains road networks, offering civil and commercial construction capabilities across the trans‑Tasman region. • Ensure safety compliance through toolbox talks, inspections, and risk management. • Supervise and support crews to deliver scheduled and reactive road maintenance. • Coach and develop team members to enhance skills and performance. • Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement in maintenance outcomes. • Monitor budgets and financial close‑out activities. • Build strong client relationships and ensure timely service delivery. • Lead and supervise maintenance crews, plan works, and interact with the public. • Drive accountability throughout the workforce. • Commit to quality outcomes, delivering on time and in full. • Proactively build relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Maintain a strong safety focus and actively support Downer Zero Harm initiatives.

What You Bring
We have positions available for experienced Supervisors to lead our Road Maintenance teams in locations such as Murray Bridge, Loxton, Naracoorte and Nuriootpa. This role suits individuals who are passionate about leading and supporting team success and who have a high regard for safety in the workplace. Candidates should have experience leading and supervising maintenance crews, planning works and engaging with the public, as well as a proven ability to drive accountability and deliver quality outcomes on time. Strong planning and scheduling skills, familiarity with asset management systems, a track record of building client and stakeholder relationships, and a commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm safety initiatives are essential. • Possess strong planning and scheduling skills, check crew work, and use asset management systems. • Tool‑of‑trade vehicle provided.
