About the Role
The Framer 2 role focuses on manufacturing round-stock products to established specifications in a productive, efficient and safe manner. Duties include operating hand and framing tools to cut, drill, brand, tag, clean, and prepare poles, inspecting and verifying quality, documenting material processed, maintaining tools and work area, and contributing to the company safety program. • Inspect and verify round-stock quality and classification to ANSI, ASTM, or corporate standards. • Operate hand and framing tools to cut, drill, brand, tag, clean, and prepare poles for treatment. • Document and report processed material. • Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work area. • Assist in inspection of all round-stock products. • Assist with receipt, tallying, identification, and record-keeping of materials. • Operate full-length and deep incisor equipment as required. • Operate pole-tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags. • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
