About the Role
The Mobile Equipment Operator 1 role involves operating Pettibone, forklift, or loader to load, unload, sort, and transport material, manage inventory using bin/SKU and FIFO principles, assist with treatment charge handling and physical inventories, perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance, train peers, document maintenance needs, and support the company safety program. • Load, unload, sort, and transport materials per quality, safety, and production standards. • Move material between processing equipment, railcars, trucks, trams, bins, and storage areas. • Operate vehicle controls and lifting devices to position pallets, skids, and boxes. • Stack and unload material using lifting mechanisms. • Manage bin/SKU inventory and follow FIFO procedures. • Participate in physical inventories and treatment charge handling. • Perform equipment inspections, fueling, cleaning, and basic maintenance. • Train peers on equipment operation and document maintenance needs. • Contribute to the company safety program and perform other assigned duties.
