What You Bring
Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our System Engineering stream. We are seeking skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. We are interested in hearing from professionals with experience aligned with the following roles: Project Support Officer, Business Support Officer, Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, and Scheduler. What you’ll bring includes previous experience in the Defence or consulting services industries, strong background in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors, and proven delivery or support of complex Defence acquisition or sustainment projects within CASG. Experience managing end‑to‑end projects, using project‑management tools, and holding relevant certifications is highly preferred, along with strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder‑management skills. A current Negative Vetting Level 1 or higher security clearance is required, and compliance with ITAR may also be necessary. • Hold a current Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) or higher security clearance (or meet ITAR requirements). • Demonstrated experience in Defence or consulting services across Land, Communications, Navy, Space, or other sectors. • Delivered or supported complex Defence acquisition or sustainment projects within CASG. • Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder management across teams.
