About the Role
Technicians will deliver the highest level of service by solving facility inefficiencies and addressing service‑related issues. As trusted advisors, they will offer solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service, recommend efficiency improvements, identify upselling opportunities, and prepare customer quotes. • Perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket service for residential and commercial HVAC systems. • Diagnose and repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chillers. • Provide service recommendations, efficiency solutions, and upsell opportunities; generate customer quotes. • Serve as a trusted advisor during equipment commissioning and post‑installation support. • Travel 10‑20% to branch customers for field service. • Participate in Service Technical Academy training and the Service Plus Rewards program. • Collaborate with local mechanics and document problem causes and corrective actions.

The position is for skilled HVAC Technicians experienced with residential and/or ducted products, air‑cooled or water‑cooled chillers, air handling units, or rooftop ducted units. Technicians receive factory certification through the Service Technical Academy, incentive programs, a strong safety focus, and are provided with tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle. Candidates must be members or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices, have at least three years of hands‑on experience with the listed HVAC systems, and be capable of repairing centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chillers. Travel of 10‑20% is required, and applicants must pass a knowledge exam, hold a universal EPA refrigerant license, and possess a valid driver’s license. • Maintain safety standards and hold an EPA universal refrigerant license and a valid driver’s license. • Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
