About the Role
• Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents, handling tours, qualifications, and lease signing. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, maintain model units, and follow up to close leasing deals. • Complete all leasing paperwork, assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, requests, and satisfaction issues. • Develop and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan implementation and conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis. • Keep thorough knowledge of property features, competitors, and market conditions; produce weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Meet physical demands including climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, operating equipment, and working in various temperature and weather conditions, including overtime and weekend shifts.

Benefits
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property, with competitive hourly pay of $23‑$24, a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) matching, commissions and performance bonuses, plus paid sick days and holidays. Compensation is based on individual skills, experience and certifications, and the position may require overtime, weekends and night hours as needed.
