About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides prompt and courteous waste removal, and ensures the vehicle meets safety standards and regulatory compliance, completing daily vehicle condition reports. The role includes comprehensive pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact and dispose of waste, interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers, identifying and tagging unsatisfactory containers, cleaning spills, and maintaining vehicle readiness. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. • Safely operate the collection truck along the assigned route, load and compact waste, and dispose of it at the designated facility. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as assigned. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body, and report defects promptly. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation. • Meet department productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. • Actively participate in the company's ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Drivers must complete route and productivity sheets, meet productivity standards, adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and exhibit strong customer service, time management, and follow‑through skills. Applicants need a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
