About the Role
The role is an Engineering Instructor at the Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center (CEC) in Delta, PA. The incumbent will functionally direct CEC mechanical and technical training programs—including chemistry, engineering, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and radiation protection—acting as the subject‑matter expert for the assigned functional area. Key responsibilities include developing, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering performance‑based training in line with Constellation’s Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model; counseling trainees and creating individualized training plans; keeping programs current with INPO, NRC, and Constellation updates; participating in audits and responding to findings; supporting business initiatives, project management, outage and emergency preparedness; and coordinating instructor efforts while providing guidance. • Develop, schedule, and deliver performance‑based training using Constellation’s SAT model. • Counsel trainees, evaluate outcomes, and design individualized training programs. • Update training content based on INPO reports, NRC bulletins, regulatory changes, and internal event reports. • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and prepare response documentation. • Support business initiatives, project management, refuel outage activities, and emergency preparedness. • Coordinate instructor teams, provide expertise, and manage systematic training processes. • Maintain minimum access requirements and pass required medical examinations.

What You Bring
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED with seven years of nuclear technical experience or equivalent education and experience, as well as three years of nuclear training experience. Candidates must meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards and maintain required access and medical qualifications. Preferred qualifications include supervisory or managerial experience. • Minimum qualifications: high school diploma/GED plus 7 years nuclear technical experience (or equivalent degree with reduced experience) and 3 years nuclear training experience. • Preferred: supervisory or managerial experience.
