About the Role
The CFO will partner with the President and executive team to shape financial strategy, long‑term business plans and sustainability goals, and will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and capital allocation for both corporate and project entities. The role also includes leading financial modeling, advising on strategic partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, managing debt and equity fundraising, structuring complex financing agreements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations and renewable‑energy incentives. • Develop and execute company financial strategy, long‑term plans, and sustainability goals. • Lead financial modeling and analysis for renewable energy investment decisions. • Advise on strategic partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for corporate and project entities. • Manage treasury, liquidity, and capital allocation to optimize cash flow. • Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and processes for a scaling organization. • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and renewable‑energy incentives (ITC, PTC). • Lead debt and equity fundraising, structuring tax‑equity, project finance, and corporate credit facilities. • Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions. • Establish risk‑management frameworks addressing market, operational, and financial risks. • Supervise audit, internal controls, and timely financial disclosures. • Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering collaboration and development.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred), 10‑15+ years of progressive financial leadership, at least five years in a senior executive role, proven renewable‑energy finance experience, strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills, and high integrity. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. • 10‑15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role. • Proven track record in renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure financing. • Demonstrated success raising capital and executing project‑finance transactions. • Experience managing corporate and project‑level entities in growth‑stage or investor‑backed environments. • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and operational understanding. • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. • High integrity and commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
