Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently across multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders and collections. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies. • Inspect storage units daily to ensure inventory accuracy and availability. • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits. • Conduct payment reminder and collection calls to keep accounts current. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and exterior grounds maintenance. • Transport items up to 35 lb and navigate facility stairs and large doors.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to walk around facilities for up to 50 % of the time, including outdoor work, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Managers also perform cleaning and routine maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and keeping exterior grounds clear of debris. Successful candidates have customer‑service‑oriented sales experience from retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or similar service environments.
