About the Role
In this role you will join the Shelbyville manufacturing team as an on‑site associate, interpreting work orders, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to product quality. You will be responsible for ensuring that each item meets strict specifications, accurately completing paperwork, and managing any scrap or rework that arises. • Follow work instructions and established procedures. • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to 6S and PPE standards. • Verify product specifications and uphold quality standards via FPI. • Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product correctly. • Read and update move tags. • Perform light physical tasks, lifting/pushing/pulling 5‑25 lb.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate enjoys learning, embraces innovation, and works well in a fast‑paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with basic knowledge of tolerance and inspection procedures, strong hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions. Light physical effort is required, and flexibility for overtime on the night shift is essential. • Complete documentation and labeling accurately. • Possess a High School Diploma or GED (preferred). • Know basic tolerance and quality inspection methods. • Demonstrate strong hand‑eye coordination in a fast‑paced setting. • Communicate effectively in English and follow safety/quality instructions.
