About the Role
The Engineering Aide role supports the development of autonomous aerial systems that operate where and when they are needed most. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, the aide blends technical documentation, test support, lab work, and project‑management assistance to help turn innovative designs into reality. • Collect and organize technical and test data, including lab and flight measurements. • Maintain and update engineering documentation such as schematics, drawings, and reports. • Perform basic analysis of test data under guidance. • Set up instrumentation and record measurements during tests. • Revise and format technical reports and diagrams. • Assist engineers with prototyping, assembly, and testing of flight vehicles. • Track project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring cross‑functional communication. • Manage configuration control and document version tracking. • Coordinate cross‑disciplinary prototyping and flight test operations. • Support the SVP of Engineering with ad‑hoc tasks and initiatives.

What You Bring
• Hold an associate degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering or a related field. • U.S. citizenship required for ITAR compliance and eligibility for DoD security clearance. • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple projects. • Strong communication skills in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment. • Preferred: bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of engineering experience; hands‑on lab or prototyping background.
