About the Role
The Territory Executive drives sales growth in assigned non‑metropolitan markets by prospecting, building relationships, and selling Republic Services' full suite of waste and recycling solutions, including small and large containers, electronic and universal recycling, and total waste‑stream management services. The role requires frequent client interactions, delivering sales presentations, following up with key decision makers, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract renewal while leveraging Salesforce for activity tracking and customer profiling. • Identify and acquire new commercial, industrial, and recycling accounts to exceed monthly revenue targets. • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business. • Follow up on leads within 2 hours and log activities in Salesforce. • Execute contract renewals and manage cancellation requests per escalation policy. • Conduct sales presentations and cold‑call prospecting to secure new business. • Capture customer emails and manage rate restrictions and credits. • Collaborate with Sales Manager on retention metrics and goal progress. • Leverage full suite of waste and recycling services, including total waste‑stream management solutions.

What You Bring
Candidates should possess knowledge of the waste or service industry, strong sales and conflict‑resolution skills, a results‑oriented mindset, effective time management, analytical abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. • Minimum 5 years sales experience and 2 years direct selling in a customer‑facing role. • Valid driver’s license required.
