About the Role

In this role the manager will mentor junior staff, coordinate departmental resources, develop project schedules and budgets, and maintain client relationships while supervising staff and delivering high-quality results. • Mentor junior staff and provide constructive feedback. • Ensure departmental coordination and align with revenue goals. • Develop and implement project schedules with Assistant PM and Field Supervisor. • Review staff field efforts weekly to optimize utilization and billable hours. • Supervise staff, set performance goals, and address disciplinary actions when needed. • Prepare proposals, expressions of interest, and work authorizations. • Maintain knowledge of SUE standards, scientific principles, and regulatory programs. • Organize project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards. • Represent the project in client/agency meetings and communicate effectively. • Collaborate with Billing Managers to generate accurate invoices. • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for additional services. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and track budgets and financial performance. • Coordinate with local municipalities for permits and certifications. • Seek new project leads, maintain client relationships, and support multi-lining opportunities. • Participate in marketing initiatives and industry group engagements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong SUE background. • Minimum 5 years experience at Assistant PM or PM level in SUE. • Knowledge of NYSDOT 18.2.1, 18.3.1, 18.6.1 and ASCE 38 standards. • Valid driver’s license, OSHA 10/30 certification preferred. • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and prepare SUE proposals. • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. • Proficiency with MS Office, BlueBeam, Field Aware, and related software. • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities. • Detail-oriented with skill to teach technical concepts to others.
