About the Role
The Rack Deployment Team Member is responsible for the physical installation, configuration, validation, and ongoing maintenance of server racks and associated infrastructure within critical data‑center environments. This role works with both traditional air‑cooled and advanced liquid‑cooling rack deployments, ensuring proper installation standards, operational readiness, and continuous system reliability in 24/7 operational settings. Day‑shift and night‑shift schedules are available. • Install and configure server racks per engineering specs, including PDUs, cable management, and environmental monitoring. • Set up, maintain, and commission liquid cooling distribution units (CDUs) with leak testing and fluid management. • Execute preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on rack and cooling infrastructure following work orders and SOPs. • Monitor CDU parameters (flow, temperature, pressure) 24/7 via EPMS/BMS and respond to alarms. • Perform routine tasks such as filter cleaning, fluid sampling, chemical management, and leak detection inspections. • Document installations, maintenance actions, sensor calibrations, and generate monthly operational reports. • Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures using root‑cause analysis procedures.

What You Bring
The position is on‑site in Spartanburg, SC and requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. JLL encourages applicants to apply even if they do not meet every requirement, as we are interested in learning about each candidate’s unique strengths. • Required: 2+ years in data‑center rack installation or liquid‑cooling maintenance; hands‑on CDU operation; knowledge of electrical safety, chemical handling, and fluid quality control; ability to read technical drawings, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs; physical ability to lift 80 lb and work at heights up to 15 ft; strong attention to detail; familiarity with EPMS/BMS, CMMS, and standard PC applications. • Preferred: experience with leak detection, water‑chemistry analysis, pump systems, heat exchangers, pressure testing, and preventive‑maintenance scheduling; certifications in mechanical systems, fluid handling, or data‑center operations; expertise in root‑cause analysis, continuous improvement, loop pressure testing, vacuum degassing, and advanced troubleshooting tools.
