About the Role
The analyst will provide technical leadership on projects involving applied mathematics, operations research, data analytics, modeling and simulation, and decision analysis, ensuring the appropriate level of analytic rigor and clear communication of results to senior decision‑makers. • Lead technical projects using applied mathematics, operations research, data analytics, modeling and simulation, and decision analysis. • Determine analytic rigor required based on mission complexity and data uncertainty. • Interpret customer requirements, adjust analyses, and effectively communicate results. • Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to solve problems and clarify objectives. • Collaborate within a contractor team alongside government and other contract staff. • Provide direction, develop new processes, and guide a team of skilled analysts on high‑risk, complex projects.

The environment is collaborative, supporting intellectual stimulation, and your work will directly influence the design and optimization of defense systems that protect national security and shape space defense. • BS in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience. • Design of experiments expertise. • Ability to lead and mentor high‑performing analyst teams. • Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data. • Technical proficiency in OR, modeling & simulation, computer science, big‑data analytics, etc. • Excellent communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences. • Willingness to learn new technical and management domains. • Ability to work in a secure, confined environment (SCIF). • Active TS/SCI clearance. • Master’s or Ph.D. in operations research or a theoretical science field (preferred). • Experience with DoD space and joint force programs (preferred). • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, R, SQL, VBA (preferred). • Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models (preferred). • Excel VBA expertise (preferred). • Familiarity with the space domain (preferred). • Minimal travel requirement (less than 10%).

Compensation includes a salary range of $160‑180k with potential bonuses, sign‑on, relocation, and other incentives.
