Job Highlights
About the Role
Key duties include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on chassis, refuse bodies, engines, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and related systems, as well as line welding and fabrication. Technicians safely provide road service when needed, diagnose malfunctions with electronic tools, and complete required company training programs. Additional job‑related tasks may be assigned as necessary. • Repair and maintain chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, and air brakes. • Perform engine, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and HVAC repairs. • Conduct line welding and fabrication tasks. • Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation. • Diagnose malfunctions using electronic diagnostic tools. • Complete company training programs and other assigned duties. • Participate in Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Participate in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring
Candidates must have a basic understanding of work‑order labor standards and at least one year of experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment, or be a recent graduate of an accredited automotive program. Desired qualifications include experience with Class 1‑5 light/medium‑duty and Class 7‑8 heavy‑duty trucks, ASE certifications, a Commercial Driver’s License, and a valid driver’s license. A $5,000 sign‑on bonus is offered, and employees must be able to perform basic inspections on systems such as suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, and emissions. • Understand work order labor time standards and have experience with Class 1‑5 and Class 7‑8 trucks. • Possess ASE certifications (T1‑T8) and/or a Commercial Driver’s License (preferred). • Hold a valid driver’s license and at least one year of relevant technician experience (or recent graduate). • Ability to inspect systems such as suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
