About the Role
The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) serves as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. This full‑time, on‑site role leads financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management for a fast‑growing, multi‑site organization. Core duties include directing the annual operating plan, long‑range planning, and rolling monthly forecasts; overseeing consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements; and delivering actionable financial insights to senior leaders. The manager also builds advanced models, standardizes reporting dashboards, and partners with operations, supply chain, and commercial functions to ensure budget adherence and forecast accuracy. • Lead annual operating plan, long‑range planning, and monthly forecast cycles. • Oversee consolidated financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash‑flow forecasts. • Deliver clear financial insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations to CFO, CEO, and senior leaders. • Develop advanced financial models for revenue planning, margin analysis, and operational efficiency. • Build standardized reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI frameworks for service, operations, and supply chain teams. • Partner with business leaders to ensure budget adherence and forecast accuracy. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements. • Act as trusted financial advisor for capital investments, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities. • Provide guidance on service and maintenance program performance and profitability. • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting reliability and reporting efficiency. • Champion financial system enhancements, automation, and technology adoption. • Develop scalable FP&A processes to support growth across multiple sites. • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing FP&A team, fostering collaboration and succession planning.

What You Bring
The position requires strong cross‑cultural communication, particularly with Japanese or Japan‑based partners, and benefits from experience in healthcare service, maintenance, or medical‑device environments. Candidates should demonstrate a bias for action, continuous improvement, and the ability to mentor a high‑performing FP&A team. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and 8–12 + years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3–5 years in FP&A leadership. Experience managing P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow forecasts in manufacturing or multi‑site settings, advanced Excel modeling, and the ability to influence cross‑functional leaders are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred). • 8–12 + years of progressive financial experience, including 3–5 years in FP&A leadership. • Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or multi‑site environments. • Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel expertise. • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional leaders and communicate insights clearly. • Experience managing P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow forecasts in complex settings. • Preferred: healthcare service/maintenance or medical‑device experience; experience with Japanese or multi‑country Japanese organizations; Japanese language skills; ERP systems (e.g., SAP); data‑visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau); solid cost‑accounting knowledge.
