About the Role

The role is responsible for short‑term production scheduling based on Sales & Operations Execution and the Master Production Schedule, while maintaining inventory accuracy through rigorous cycle counting. It manages the flow of materials—including receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation—and deploys lean material flow practices to support plant operations. Additionally, the position monitors labor scheduling and execution of the production plan, escalates material availability issues to the COE and network teams, and drives forecast attainment aligned with integrated business planning. • Schedule short‑term production based on S&OP and MPS. • Perform accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. • Manage material receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation. • Deploy lean material flow and oversee inventory transactions. • Monitor labor scheduling and production plan execution on the factory floor. • Escalate material shortages to COE and network teams. • Drive forecast attainment in line with integrated business planning. • Execute shipment schedules aligning with customer priority dates. • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using assessments, visual management and value‑stream mapping. • Maintain target inventory levels and achieve on‑time‑delivery and freight targets. • Ensure plant data health for MRO, shipping/receiving, part movements and scheduling. • Serve as primary contact for MPS execution escalations. • Support cross‑functional SIOP and inventory management processes. • Apply forecasting techniques, BOM structuring and scheduling expertise. • Motivate team members to achieve results.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and brings at least five years of combined experience in materials, operations or supply‑chain management within a manufacturing environment, plus three years of people‑leadership experience. They have supported cross‑functional SIOP and inventory processes, possess technical knowledge of forecasting, bill‑of‑material structuring and scheduling, and are proficient with MRP/ERP systems such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Maestro or MFG‑Pro. In‑depth understanding of plant value streams and the ability to motivate teams to achieve results are also required. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of materials/operations/supply‑chain experience. • Provide three or more years of people‑leadership experience. • Operate MRP/ERP systems, preferably Kinaxis Rapid Response, Maestro or MFG‑Pro. • Possess deep knowledge of plant manufacturing value streams.
