About the Role
The Risk Engineer role provides senior technical and analytical expertise to support the implementation of Parsons’ Risk Management Framework across multiple projects. The position focuses on quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, modeling, data integrity, and structured reporting to enable informed decision‑making at project and program levels. Key responsibilities include facilitating risk identification workshops, performing advanced risk analyses, integrating risk into cost and schedule assessments, and monitoring emerging risks. The engineer also prepares executive‑level risk reports, supports program‑wide risk consolidation and lessons‑learned activities, and ensures the accuracy and traceability of risk data in management systems. • Facilitate risk identification workshops and periodic reviews. • Perform advanced qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including statistical modeling. • Conduct schedule and cost risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulation. • Monitor emerging risks and provide technical analysis and recommendations. • Prepare structured risk reports, dashboards, and executive‑level outputs. • Support program‑level risk consolidation, trend analysis, and lessons learned. • Maintain accurate risk registers and ensure data integrity in risk management systems. • Coordinate use and maintenance of risk management software and repositories. • Provide technical input for constructability, schedule critical, and cost uncertainty assessments. • Develop risk management training materials and promote risk awareness initiatives.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline and bring at least 15 years of experience in project‑oriented risk management. Required expertise includes quantitative risk modeling, proficiency with tools such as Safran Risk, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction management, scheduling, and cost estimating. Professional certification (e.g., PMI‑RMP) is highly desired. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. • Minimum 15 years of experience in project‑oriented risk management. • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative risk analysis and cost/schedule modeling. • Proficiency with risk and scheduling tools such as Safran Risk or equivalent. • Professional certification (e.g., PMI‑RMP) preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. • Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and presentation skills. • Solid understanding of construction management, scheduling, cost estimating, and project controls. • Ability to work within structured governance frameworks and across multiple stakeholders.
