About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all operations of an on‑site housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel leadership, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administration and risk management while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching and performance issues. • Create and manage operating budgets, monitor rent collection, vendor invoicing and financial reporting. • Develop and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, show units, process leases and address resident concerns. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response, maintenance scheduling and property appearance. • Ensure compliance with fair housing, OSHA, and Asset Living policies.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree preferred) and 1‑4 years of relevant housing industry experience; certifications such as CAM or ARM are advantageous. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations are required, along with reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb, working overtime, weekends and responding to emergencies in various environments. The position may involve ascending ladders, operating tools or vehicles, and working in extreme temperatures or confined spaces. • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1‑4 years housing experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred. • Proficient with on‑site software and basic computer skills; reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies. • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb, work overtime, weekends and handle emergencies in varied environments.
