General Laborer

About the Role

General labor duties include assisting operators and foremen on construction projects, driving pins with a sledgehammer, digging with pick and shovel, hooking up trailers, fastening equipment attachments, mixing mortar, bolting, nailing, aligning and blocking under forms, measuring distances from grade stakes, driving stakes, stretching tight lines, and performing other assigned tasks. • Perform general labor tasks: drive pins, dig, hook trailers, fasten equipment, mix mortar, bolt, nail, align forms, measure grades, set stakes, stretch lines. • Assist operators and foremen to meet fine‑grade specifications. • Maintain safety standards and work independently with minimal supervision. • Perform site clean‑up, equipment maintenance, and other assigned duties.

Benefits

The position offers a starting wage of $22.00 per hour, adjusted for experience, with a $3 night‑shift premium, full‑time permanent status, and day‑shift scheduling.
