Laborer - Commercial Construction

About the Role
The Laborer assists on construction sites by performing a variety of tasks that support tradespeople, especially carpenters. Responsibilities include loading and moving materials, operating equipment, selective demolition, concrete placement, material assembly, minor repairs, and site clean‑up. The role also involves building temporary protections, assisting with framing and finish carpentry, and taking initiative when awaiting further direction. • Load, unload, and move materials from pallets, skids, trucks, or other locations. • Transport materials to and from storage or work sites. • Operate construction equipment as needed. • Perform selective demolition, concrete placement, and flagging. • Stack and assemble materials into bundles. • Make simple repairs and adjustments to machinery or trucks. • Assist carpenters with layout, framing, drywall installation, and other carpentry work. • Construct temporary protections such as barricades, visqueen, and floor coverings. • Conduct general site clean‑up, including vacuuming, sweeping, and debris removal. • Demolish non‑load‑bearing walls, ceilings, and flooring and clean up debris.

What You Bring
Candidates should have relevant commercial construction experience and preferably an OSHA 10 certification. The position requires the ability to lift up to 100 lb, strong organizational and multitasking skills, reliability, and a self‑motivated attitude. Flexible availability for overtime, weekends, or night shifts may be required.
