About the Role
The work environment is on‑site with up to 25% travel required and a need for core‑hour support. The role involves close coordination with stakeholders and individual contributors to manage requirements, assess risks, and deliver comprehensive reporting. • Support CONOP development and on‑orbit calibration/validation activities. • Participate in ground site integration and test efforts. • Advise and mentor customers on segment architecture, specifications, and verification & validation. • Maintain collection system requirements baseline using tools such as DOORS. • Lead segment verification, evaluate developer data, and recommend approval or disapproval. • Attend segment and program management design reviews to assess design maturity and requirements compliance. • Review verification evidence and test reports for space vehicle requirement verification and Pre‑Ship Review events. • Evaluate acquisition milestone documentation, identify risks/opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies. • Contribute to technical and programmatic reviews and meetings as required. • Assess segment‑level impacts of new capabilities and integrate them into the program baseline.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, possess a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, and have at least ten years of relevant experience, including knowledge of DoD/IC satellite systems and acquisition processes. Desired qualifications include an advanced STEM degree with an emphasis on Model‑Based Systems Engineering, prior program office experience, and a background in developing technical specifications for space systems. • Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. • Possess 10+ years of experience with DoD/IC satellite systems and acquisition processes. • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills in government/contractor environments. • Desired: advanced STEM degree with MBSE focus, prior program office experience, and experience drafting space system specifications.
