The Irvine, CA team is seeking an Android Engineer to support multiple software products, including Apartments.com. The role will impact high‑visibility web applications used by millions, and involves continuous learning of emerging technologies to improve the company’s software. The position is office‑based Monday‑through‑Thursday with a work‑from‑home day on Friday. Candidates must have at least four years of Android development experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a proven track record of commitment to past employers. Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern design patterns (MVC, MVVM, DI) is required, along with strong OOP knowledge. Passion for mobile experiences and the ability to translate ideas into exceptional customer experiences are preferred. • Minimum 4 years of Android development experience. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Layout Editor. • Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC, MVVM, and Dependency Injection patterns. • Passion for building engaging mobile applications. • Ability to turn ideas and code into optimal customer experiences.
