About the Role
The Foreman is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of an assigned organization, ensuring safe, continuous, and economical processes across operations, maintenance, fuels, or instrumentation and controls. The role requires adherence to company ethics, compliance with government and industry regulations, and alignment with corporate goals. The Foreman leads teams, communicates across shifts, and upholds safety and productivity standards. • Develop and execute work schedules, ensuring timely completion. • Coach employees on processes, procedures, and best practices. • Communicate effectively with team members, other foremen, and management to relay information and support decision‑making. • Coordinate handoffs between shifts and foremen to maintain safe, reliable operations. • Grow employee skill sets through training and development. • Direct work to meet safety and productivity goals, enforcing proper work practices. • Encourage customer‑focused performance and awareness among team members. • Recommend performance improvements to employees and management. • Participate in formal performance evaluations of assigned staff.

What You Bring
• Troubleshoot equipment and personnel issues using sound judgment and decision‑making skills. • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field (or high school diploma with 18 months of trade/technical training in Power Plant Technology). • Minimum 8 years of experience as a technician in power plant operations, maintenance, fuels, or instrumentation & controls (or a six‑month rotation/temporary Shift Foreman assignment). • Ability to meet minimum access or unescorted access requirements and pass a favorable medical examination appropriate to the position.
