About the Role
The Master Scheduler role sits in the Defence Sales & Operations Planning team of the Global Planning function. This team captures and integrates customer requirements into the supply chain, ensuring product applicability, and is central to Rolls‑Royce’s transformation agenda. Key duties include coordinating the UK Defence Sales Inventory & Operations planning process, integrating delivery plans with internal teams to meet customer requirements while optimizing business performance. The scheduler provides actionable insight into schedule performance, risk and forecast, cascades the approved executive schedule through the ERP system, and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve material and capacity conflicts. • Coordinate UK Defence Sales Inventory & Operations planning and integrate delivery plans across internal teams. • Provide clear insights on schedule performance, risks and forecasts to support decision‑making. • Cascade the approved executive schedule accurately through the ERP system and maintain demand stability. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage capacity constraints, improve lead times, and resolve material conflicts. • Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules using advanced planning tools (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365). • Contribute to Rolls‑Royce’s transformation programme within an inclusive, high‑performance culture.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field, with APICS CPIM/CSCP certification viewed as a strong plus. Relevant experience in master scheduling, production planning or supply‑chain management—preferably in manufacturing or aerospace—is essential, together with advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365. Additional expectations include experience in project or programme environments, the ability to create Master Production Schedules, strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and a collaborative, adaptable team‑player attitude.
