About the Role
The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager role is situated within KBR’s NSS Intel division at an OCONUS location and is 100% onsite. This position oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and operational systems, leading teams to ensure optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key duties include directing work groups responsible for planning, construction, maintenance, renovation, and demolition of facilities and equipment, obtaining and negotiating bids from external engineering and construction firms, and establishing schedules and budgetary controls for major projects. The manager also ensures compliance with contract specifications, insurance requirements, and local building codes, reviews architectural and engineering drawings, participates in strategic planning, and maintains relationships with engineering organizations to stay current on allied fields. • Direct work groups in planning, construction, maintenance, renovation, and demolition of facilities and equipment. • Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate bids from engineering, architectural, and construction firms. • Develop schedules, budgets, and allocate expenditures for major construction projects, ensuring integration with contracts and government agencies. • Ensure compliance with contract specifications, insurance requirements, and local building codes; review and approve architectural/engineering drawings. • Participate in strategic planning and maintain relationships with engineering organizations to stay current on allied fields. • Implement and oversee quality systems, safety standards, and ethical practices. • Manage on‑site O&M technicians and supervise daily operations.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI with Poly, and have at least five years of leadership experience supporting global life‑support services or similar labor roles. A high school, vocational, or trade school diploma is required, along with experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), executing preventative maintenance plans, managing prioritized schedules for O&M and PM programs, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Hold a Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI (Poly) and possess 5+ years leadership experience in global life‑support services. • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and preventative maintenance programs. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and capable of measuring work performance against established goals.
