About the Role

• Lead the development of scope, schedule and budget for tasks and standalone projects. • Plan and implement communications strategy for infrastructure projects across all phases. • Execute grassroots communication tactics, manage hotlines, emails, and canvass stakeholders. • Lead campaign development, including audience analysis, branding, messaging, and research. • Direct customer-facing communication via social, print, video, and web media. • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Facilitate contentious public meetings, hearings, open houses, and stakeholder sessions. • Develop and edit collateral such as surveys, presentations, newsletters, trainings, websites, handouts, videos, advertisements, press releases, and public notices. • Leverage technologies to foster creative solutions and clear multi‑channel communication. • Collaborate with graphic design, web development, and social media to maintain brand consistency and user experience. • Mentor, train, and support junior staff and project teams. • Monitor project health with business, accounting, and operations leadership.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. • Experience in the A/E industry. • Understanding of NEPA and its application to infrastructure projects. • Deep knowledge of public involvement, stakeholder engagement, and public relations communications. • Proven ability to craft compelling stories that enhance messaging and engagement. • Strong project management capabilities. • Experience working with graphic designers, web developers, and social media strategists for cohesive messaging. • Experience writing for social, print, audio/video, and web mediums. • Service‑ and client‑oriented personality with consulting experience. • Minimum 10 years relevant industry experience, including management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. • Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities. • Great interpersonal skills with a positive outlook. • High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues. • Comfortable engaging senior leaders and managing cross‑functional efforts. • Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced environment. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
