About the Role
The individual will perform machine setup and operate machines as needed, handling machine parts per print for customer orders across various workstations in the ABM Department. This role complies with ISO requirements, safety standards, and good housekeeping. Key responsibilities include setting up ABM machines with tooling changes and adjustments, operating the machines by loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips, and ensuring conformance with quality specifications. The employee must troubleshoot machines, perform maintenance, track components and tools, and assist with scheduling and training of additional setup personnel. • Perform setup on ABM machines, including tooling changes and adjustments. • Operate ABM machines: load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips. • Ensure products meet quality specifications. • Troubleshoot machines and conduct maintenance as needed. • Track and manage components and tools such as hydraulic fittings, motors, and drill heads. • Coordinate machine scheduling with production planning. • Train and assist additional setup personnel. • Maintain compliance with ISO, safety, and housekeeping standards. • Apply mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios) for machine adjustments.
