About the Role

A Relief Driver – CDL (A) safely operates heavy commercial trucks, tractor‑trailers, or straight trucks with pup trailers to deliver and remove large containers. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with company safety standards before operation, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely drive heavy truck along designated routes, follow route sheets, and service customers. • Operate controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated facilities. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service. • Perform minor on‑site container repairs and tag unsatisfactory containers. • Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean accidental spills according to safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from containers on each trip. • Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports. • Meet department productivity standards to service customers efficiently. • Follow all safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Manage time efficiently to complete duties safely and promptly. • Follow through on schedules and address challenges as they arise. • Adhere to company policies, promote safety, and avoid risky behavior.

What You Bring

• Minimum qualification: Class A CDL with air‑brake endorsement; two years commercial truck experience preferred; mechanical aptitude for minor repairs.
