About the Role

Key responsibilities include business development, executing growth plans, and enabling the sales team through effective demonstration of solutions. The manager will achieve sales objectives by acquiring new customers, mining existing accounts, and providing strategic market intelligence. They will also maintain and expand the customer and partner base through strong territory management, act as the techno‑commercial single point of contact for enterprise accounts in the North region, and collaborate closely with partners, headquarters, marketing, pre‑sales, and product development teams. • Deliver sales plans and meet quotas across assigned geography. • Drive growth in Transportation, Oil, Power & Gas verticals as an integrated solutions provider. • Acquire new customers, mine existing accounts, and develop relationships. • Provide strategic market intelligence and manage territory effectively. • Serve as the techno‑commercial single point of contact for enterprise accounts in the North region. • Define and expand solution offerings in collaboration with partners, HQ, marketing, pre‑sales, and product teams. • Work with consultants, architects, partners, and contractors to position solutions on upcoming projects. • Analyze RFPs/Tenders and deliver strategic input for solution design. • Build and manage a partner ecosystem for solution development and deployment. • Coordinate internal approvals and maintain Johnson Controls’ high‑technology security brand perception.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or an MBA, along with 8‑10 years of experience in sales, solution architecture, or business development handling large and complex opportunities. Candidates should have at least 5 years in the security industry, preferably with a reputable OEM, and possess strong communication, presentation, and people‑management skills. Knowledge of security solutions for the retail sector, business KPIs, operations, maintenance, safety, as well as familiarity with ERP, Industrial IoT, and analytics applications is essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering and/or MBA. • possess 8‑10 years of sales, solution architecture, or business development experience handling large, complex opportunities. • Have at least 5 years of experience in the security industry, preferably with a reputable OEM. • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and people‑management skills. • Know security solutions for the retail sector and related business KPIs. • Familiarity with ERP, Industrial IoT, and analytics applications.
