About the Role

KBR maintains Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion in Charleston, supporting the Army’s power projection doctrine. The APS-3 program, executed from Goose Creek, provides maintenance for Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, and IX stocks to keep equipment sets ready for emergency deployment. The Maintenance Technical Analyst acts as the contractor’s Maintenance Technical Representative, receiving direction from the Maintenance Manager and U.S. Army sources. This role involves in‑depth research and analysis of workload requirements to forecast warranty, safety message, and modification work orders, as well as ensuring compliance through verification of maintenance documentation. Key duties include coordinating and scheduling warranty repairs with external contractors, curating technical publications, standardizing cataloging of manuals and reports, monitoring publication sites for changes, and drafting recommendations to improve work methods. The analyst also enforces validation standards for disposition documents and prepares deviation and waiver submissions as needed. • Conduct technical research using EMS NG, IADS, ETM/IETM, LOGSA, UTAP, and APD applications. • Create, update, and provision APS‑3 Form MT‑30 and utilize MMIS and TULSA for safety messages. • Validate and submit equipment disposition documentation to the Operations department. • Process MWO coordination forms (DA FORM 2408‑5) using MMIS within LOGSA. • Prepare and submit deviation and waiver documentation as required by the customer. • Manage controlled exchange activities using GCSS‑Army and DA FORM 2408‑4. • Coordinate AOAP activities, complete monitoring tests, and submit samples to the lab. • Maintain a warranty database and schedule external contractor repairs for warranty actions. • Download, post, and notify personnel of add‑ons, newsletters, and SOP revisions on the shared drive. • Analyze workload forecasts for warranty, safety messages, and modification work orders. • Observe and critique maintenance activities to ensure compliance and accurate data reporting. • Curate and standardize technical publications, monitor changes, and recommend procedural improvements.

What You Bring

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a valid passport, CAC, and base access, and possess working knowledge of GCSS‑Army and strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Power BI. A high school diploma (or equivalent experience) is required, with a bachelor’s degree or five years of specialized military contracting experience acceptable in lieu of further education. Two years of relevant experience, physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lb, and use personal protective equipment are also required.
