About the Role

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of an on‑site housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision. This role manages personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff while maintaining daily attendance. • Create and manage weekly/daily schedules for office and maintenance teams. • Address performance issues, document actions, coordinate with HR, and execute terminations when necessary. • Drive net operating income through cost control, revenue optimization, and leasing improvements. • Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts, and monitor timely rent collections and deposit reconciliations. • Oversee vendor invoice receipt, reconciliation, coding, and ensure accurate property close‑out reporting. • Design and execute yearly marketing plans and effective leasing strategies to achieve lease closures. • Handle resident complaints, requests, and implement retention programs such as events and newsletters. • Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents while maintaining accurate lease documentation. • Ensure precise administrative and leasing reporting and lead the property’s emergency response team. • Maintain high customer service standards, monitor maintenance request turnaround, and ensure property appearance through regular inspections. • Manage property resources, obtain vendor bids, and supervise maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities for quality and speed. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring

• Require high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), CAM/ARM certification optional, and proficiency with on‑site software tools. • Possess basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and be able to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call emergencies.

Benefits
