About the Role
The primary responsibility is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. Drivers must comply with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations, maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and complete thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. They are required to report unsafe situations, incidents, and service calls promptly, attend all scheduled training, and work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency. Documentation and customer communication are essential components of the role. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely following OSHA, DOT, and all regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report issues. • Report unsafe conditions, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers and perform duties as assigned by Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and reposition containers without obstructing driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow daily route assignments and submit all required documentation at route completion.

What You Bring
No formal education is required, but a valid CDL‑B and an acceptable driving record are mandatory. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete a DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, and motor vehicle record review.
