About the Role
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathroom fixtures, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window blinds. Tasks include dusting furniture, bookcases, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, emptying wastebaskets, transporting trash, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing or polishing floors, washing windows, doors, and glass fronts, performing light maintenance on toilets and sinks, and restocking cleaning supplies. Additional duties involve picking up trash and debris throughout the campus. • Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and stairways. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window blinds; dust furniture, bookcases, walls, ceilings, and woodwork. • Empty wastebaskets, transport trash, and pick up debris throughout the campus. • Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors; wash windows, doors, and glass fronts. • Perform light maintenance/repair on toilets and sinks; restock bathroom and cleaning supplies. • Comply with all company policies and procedures. • Work in manufacturing facilities with exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and forklift traffic.

This entry‑level position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old. Successful custodians demonstrate attention to detail, good decision‑making, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills. They must work cooperatively in a team, maintain reliable attendance, adapt to variable schedules, rotate among stations, and be willing to work overtime as assigned, while complying with all company policies. The role is performed in manufacturing facilities where employees are regularly exposed to extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic. The custodian must be able to stand for the majority of the workday. • Must be at least 18 years old; entry‑level position. • Exhibit attention to detail, good decision‑making, and effective communication. • Work cooperatively in a team, maintain reliable attendance, and adapt to variable schedules and overtime. • Ability to stand for 95% of the workday.
