About the Role
Serve food and beverages to members, owners, and guests while anticipating their needs and responding promptly in a friendly, professional manner. Immediately greet and acknowledge arriving guests with a welcoming demeanor. Maintain positive guest relations through effective communication, proper demeanor, body language, and eye contact to enhance the culinary experience. Extend a courteous farewell, thanking guests and inviting them to return. Operate the cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, adhering to all company cash handling guidelines. Manage accountability for all alcohol and bar supplies, as well as the cash bank. Clear and reset tables as needed, and complete all closing side work while inspecting for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas. Maintain complete knowledge of table, seat, and station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, and proper table setup. Take ownership of any guest problems and resolve them according to departmental guidelines. • Serve food and beverages while anticipating guest needs. • Greet and acknowledge arriving members and guests promptly. • Operate POS system and follow cash handling procedures. • Manage bar alcohol inventory and cash bank accountability. • Maintain positive guest relations through effective communication. • Resolve guest issues according to departmental guidelines.

What You Bring
Applicants must have at least one year of experience in the culinary field and be of legal age to serve and sell alcohol. Required certifications include a state- or county-specific Health Card, Food Handler’s Card, and Alcohol Awareness Training Certification. Strong customer service skills, proficient time management, ability to take initiative and adapt to change, and effective multitasking are essential. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the capacity to handle frequent interruptions and emergencies. Basic math and cash handling abilities, including counting currency and making change, are required. • Clear and reset tables and complete closing side work with attention to cleanliness. • Possess at least one year of culinary experience. • Hold state-specific Health Card, Food Handler’s Card, and Alcohol Awareness Certification. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time management, and multitasking abilities. • Meet legal age requirements for serving and selling alcohol and possess basic math and cash handling skills.
