About the Role

Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties, and work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. The role requires taking direction from a higher‑skilled worker or foreman. • Eliminate waste (waiting, rework, transport, storage, time). • Seek supervisor clarification on safety or uncertainty before proceeding. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. • Safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Provide feedback to ensure necessary materials, tools, and information are available. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis. • Move in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Use hands frequently to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

What You Bring

• Perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide). • NCCER Core Curriculum certification or high school diploma (or equivalent). • 1‑3+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction (level‑I to level‑III). • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required PPE (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Stooping, kneeling, or bending occasionally.
