About the Role

The HR Generalist will handle employee relations, compliance, HR administration, data integrity, recruiting support, reporting, and occasional travel to sites, while maintaining alignment with HR leadership. • Serve as primary HR contact for assigned manufacturing sites, supporting employees and leaders with day‑to‑day HR needs. • Conduct workplace investigations and ensure due process per company policy and employment law. • Support corrective action processes, attendance management, and policy interpretation. • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company guidelines. • Maintain accurate employee records (personnel files, attendance, I‑9s, FMLA, OSHA logs, DOT files, etc.). • Keep employee data current in Dayforce or other HR systems, ensuring integrity and compliance. • Perform consistent, accurate data entry and auditing across HR systems. • Build, maintain, and improve HR trackers, reports, and documentation processes. • Support audits, reporting requests, and compliance reviews. • Assist with recruiting and hiring for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles. • Coordinate and facilitate new‑hire orientation and onboarding. • Partner with plant leadership to ensure smooth employee integration. • Gather and analyze HR data to support decision‑making. • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for HR, plant, and executive leadership. • Report on workforce trends, employee‑relations activity, compliance metrics, and operational needs. • Remain flexible to travel on short notice as business needs arise. • Work independently on‑site while staying aligned with HR leadership.

Candidates must have at least two years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing (or six years as an HR Administrator/Coordinator), knowledge of employment laws, high‑detail administrative abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Preferred qualifications include experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS, supporting distributed workforces, and a background in manufacturing or operations‑heavy settings.
