About the Role

The Technician III is responsible for operating and maintaining facility mechanical and supporting systems, performing structured inspections, and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted client operations and asset integrity. Key duties include troubleshooting equipment deficiencies, conducting regular walkthroughs and inspections of mechanical, electrical, and other systems, managing work orders through a maintenance management database, and assisting in the implementation of a preventative maintenance program. The role also emphasizes client relations by delivering quality service to enhance tenant satisfaction, participating in facility‑related projects, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire‑protection regulations, and maintaining tools and related expenditures. • Provide observations on facility mechanical/electrical conditions and suggest enhancements or repairs. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other building systems. • Conduct regular inspections, walkthroughs, and monitoring to ensure uptime and asset integrity. • Manage work orders from dispatch to completion and record data in the maintenance management system. • Assist in implementing and documenting the preventative maintenance program. • Enhance tenant and customer satisfaction through quality service delivery. • Participate in facility‑related projects and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire‑protection policies. • Maintain tools, arrange repairs/replacements, and submit expenditures promptly. • Be available for shifts, on‑call, standby, and emergency call‑outs while adhering to PPE and safety policies.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma with trade training or certification, have at least three years of experience with HVAC, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems, and possess knowledge of building automation systems, a strong EHS mindset, effective communication, and mentoring abilities. • Hold a high school diploma with trade training/certification and at least three years of relevant maintenance experience. • Possess knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC systems with a strong EHS mindset. • Demonstrate effective communication and mentoring skills for lower‑level technicians. • Obtain appropriate security clearance and hold a valid driver’s license. • Required certifications: Building Operator Certification (or equivalent) or a provincial HVAC/apprentice license (e.g., Gasfitter I & II, refrigeration).

Benefits
