About the Role
The Sales Engineer will drive growth of the HVAC and IAQ product portfolio across commercial, hospitality, and healthcare segments in the assigned region. Responsibilities include generating new sales opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, delivering technical presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strategic relationships with partners, consultants, and architects while continuously monitoring market trends. • Generate sales opportunities for Johnson Controls HVAC/IAQ products across commercial, hospitality, and healthcare segments in the assigned region. • Achieve allocated annual operating plan and sales targets. • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts and manage the sales pipeline. • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations to prospects, consultants, channel partners, and contractors. • Negotiate contract terms, including legal, finance, and payment conditions, following the company approval matrix. • Identify and propose cost‑saving improvements to enhance profitability. • Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, end‑users, consultants, contractors, and architects. • Conduct ongoing market research for competitive intelligence and anticipate industry changes. • Target cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities to ensure comprehensive presentation of all company products and services. • Established network with leading HVAC consultants and contractors in Mumbai.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will have 8–10 years of HVAC/IAQ sales experience in the North region, strong GTM expertise, and deep connections with Mumbai‑based consultants and contractors. They must possess excellent techno‑commercial negotiation, communication, and networking skills, be proactive, and comfortable using MS Office. • 8–10 years of experience selling HVAC/IAQ products in the North region. • Strong understanding of go‑to‑market strategies for HVAC/IAQ solutions. • Excellent techno‑commercial negotiation abilities. • Ability to influence internal stakeholders and build business cases. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; fluency in English. • Proactive and capable of working with minimal guidance. • Strong networking capabilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
