About the Role

• Lead and standardize project controls across multiple data‑center sites. • Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative improvement culture. • Serve as primary project‑controls contact, guiding project managers and stakeholders. • Provide pre‑construction cost analysis, budget baselines, and contractor purchase order development. • Align cost and schedule for phased campus builds, including utility and long‑lead equipment planning. • Manage internal budgets, schedule‑of‑values, and monthly financial reporting. • Oversee external budgets, commitment and change management, and document control. • Facilitate change‑order routing, content analysis, and executive approvals. • Maintain risk registers, evaluate contingencies, and support scenario analyses. • Lead monthly forecasting, cash‑flow analysis, variance identification, and executive reporting. • Conduct financial health reviews using dashboards, budget software, and productivity reports. • Present project health, risks, and performance to senior leadership. • Coordinate with site schedulers to sync financial forecasts with Primavera P6 schedules. • Partner daily with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and internal analytics, procurement, and finance teams. • Drive program initiatives, training, and process alignment across sites. • Adhere to applicable SOX control requirements where required.

What You Bring

The firm is looking for an experienced Lead Project Controls Manager to oversee cost, schedule and risk management for a rapidly expanding data‑center infrastructure program for a prestigious technology client. The senior‑level role will provide strategic direction, mentor junior staff and collaborate with global construction, analytics, procurement and finance teams to ensure financial health, accurate forecasting and risk mitigation across new builds and retrofits. The position involves shaping the delivery of mission‑critical projects within a multi‑billion‑dollar, sustainability‑focused campus development. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and have at least eight years of construction project‑controls experience on large, multi‑project programs, including two years in a leadership capacity. Required expertise includes forecasting, change management, risk analysis, schedule interpretation and linking schedule impacts to cost forecasts. Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities are essential, as are proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and cost‑control platforms such as eBuilder or Procore; experience with Unifier and data‑center construction is a plus.
